Frequently asked questions
How does CVee work?
Fill in your details in a simple form and watch your CV take shape in the live preview. Pick the design, colour and font you like, then download it as a PDF that looks exactly like what you see on screen.
How long does it take to create a CV?
Most people are done in minutes. Everything you type appears in the preview straight away, so there's no back and forth.
Why is CVee better than a text editor or a design tool?
You focus on what you want to say, and CVee takes care of the layout: page breaks, spacing and alignment are handled for you. Switching designs never breaks your formatting, because your content and the design are kept separate.
Can I use CVee for free?
Yes – building your CV is free: fill in your details, try every design and see the live preview. You only pay when you download, from €1 for a single PDF. Every price is shown up front, and nothing renews by itself.
How much does it cost to download my CV?
€1 for a single download, or unlimited downloads for a set time: €3 for 3 days, €6.50 for a week or €10 for a month. It's a one-off payment, not a subscription.
In which format can I download my CV?
As a PDF. It's the format employers prefer, it looks the same on every device, and the text stays selectable for screening software.
Which languages are supported?
Section titles are available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Hungarian. You write the content in whichever language you apply in.
Is my data safe?
Your CV is saved in your own browser on this device, so you don't need an account. When you download, your details are used only to create your PDF.
Can I upload the CV I already have?
Not yet, but we're working on it. Soon you'll be able to upload your current CV as a PDF or Word file, and CVee will fill in your details for you.
Make sure an opportunity never depends on your CV
